Neurofunctional Integration & Neurointegrative Psychosomatics - Holistic Therapy

Neurointegrative Medizin / Neurointegrative Psychosomatik

Neurofunctional Integration (NeuroFi) is a holistic therapeutic approach that places the nervous system at the center of both diagnosis and treatment. This method is based on the understanding that the nervous system controls and coordinates all bodily functions, meaning that every symptom can be seen as the result of a functional disturbance within the nervous system.

Treatment begins with a thorough medical history and physical examination, supplemented by a neurofunctional assessment. During this process, disrupted or impaired nerve pathways are identified through functional testing of all body systems. Manual stimuli are then applied to specific points on the body to test the stability of these functions. When a disturbance is localized, the therapist specifically activates the part of the nervous system responsible for improving or normalizing the function. This process, called integration, enables the brain to better access the previously disrupted function. The improved coordination between body systems can lead to a rapid reduction in symptoms.

Neurofunctional Integration is suitable for patients of all ages and can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including learning and concentration difficulties, pain, postural issues, and neurological disorders.

Neurointegrative Psychosomatics (NIPsych)

Neurointegrative Psychosomatics is a holistic therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between the brain, body, and psyche. This method addresses both the conscious and unconscious aspects of our thoughts and emotions—and their impact on the body.

Core elements of neurointegrative psychosomatics include:

Changing limiting behavior and thought patterns: NIPsych aims to identify and transform negative experiences, beliefs, and habits.

Activating hidden resources: The therapy encourages the development of individual strengths and potential.

Integrating body and mind: Specific techniques are used to activate new neural pathways and initiate positive change.

Treating psychosomatic complaints: NIPsych can positively affect both physical symptoms and personal development.

The treatment draws from the Neurological Integration System (NIS) and Neurofunctional Integration (NeuroFi), and incorporates techniques such as muscle testing and tapping to establish and anchor new patterns of thinking in the subconscious.

The goal is to release burdensome experiences and limiting conditioning, allowing for greater control over behavior and emotional responses.

Neurointegrative Psychosomatics can be applied to a wide range of personal issues and is often used to complement other therapeutic methods such as NIS and NeuroFi.
